Grapevine with Mark Smith

Dominique Portet was instrumental in setting up Lebrina’s Clover Hill Vineyard back in 1986. Twenty years later, he continues to be a keen fan of sparkling wines from northeast Tasmania. This one under his own name is a ripper. Dominique says it’s similar to those that made Clover Hill famous in the mid-1990s. It is very stylish. The wine has great length and creamy texture, with subtle brioche and citrus notes. Excellent.
