From Fathers to Sons
Tenth generation winemaker, Ben Portet, joins his father, Dominique, to pay homage to the Portets who have gone before, including his grandfather, Andre, who was regisseur at Chateau Lafite. Philippe Mouchel’s special menu will be matched with 2004 Lafite Rothschild (in magnum), Dominique’s 2006 Andre Cabernet Sauvignon from the Yarra Valley and Heathcote, and Ben’s new label Ten Men, 2008 Yarra Valley Shiraz. A sophisticated evening.

Portet Petanque Pinot Pies
Dominique Portet sparkling wine and a straight pinot noir mmm... All petanque players will gather under the umbrellas. A French throwing of the silver balls on the pitch will test your skill. Bring your team and we'll have winemakers doing the harvest, pies and pinot prepared. A fun run around the vineyard and dam thrown in... purely perfect Portet.
