The Dominique Portet Winery is in the heart of the Yarra Valley. From the centre of Melbourne, it takes approximately one hour to travel to Dominique Portet. If you are traveling from the Melbourne Airport via the city, it will take an extra hour.
By Car
(MELWAYS REF. 276 K9)
- Take the eastern freeway (East link) from Melbourne to Ringwood. Exit left onto Ringwood. Exit left onto Ringwood By-Pass immediately after the Mullum Mullum tunnel.
- Follow the Ringwood By-pass straight ahead.
- Turn left onto Maroondah Highway
- Stay on Maroondah Highway through the township of Lilydale and Coldstream for approximately 30 minutes.
- At the fork of Melba and Maroondah Highway, take the right fork (Maroondah Highway) heading towards Coldsteam.
- Travel another 10 minutes, Dominique Portet is on the corner of Maroondah Highway and Maddens Lane (past Domaine Chandon).
By Public Transport
- From Flinders Street station, catch the Lilydale train (1.5 hour). For train timetables, please visit www.connexmelbourne.com.au
- Disembark train at Lilydale station, and catch the Mckenzie’s bus. Route 685. For bus timetable visit www.mckenzies.com.au/routeb
- Disembark bus outside Dominique Portet past coldstream.
